Case Study: Breann Ferguson – Late Start, Big Results with a Perfect Fit at NC Wesleyan

Breann Ferguson is a rising talent from the Bahamas with natural athleticism, a smooth playing style, and the kind of competitive spirit that stands out right away. After moving to Tampa, Florida to continue her training, Breann focused on developing her game—but started her college search later than most. Like many international athletes, she had the talent but lacked the connections, exposure, and tools to get on coaches' radars quickly.

That's where Recruited came in.

Using our platform, Breann was able to fast-track her recruiting journey. She leveraged our network, contacted coaches directly through our messaging tools, and showcased her profile and videos to a much wider audience than before. With the right support and guidance, everything began to click.

One program stood out: North Carolina Wesleyan University.

The coaching staff saw what we saw—a gifted player with tremendous upside and a strong desire to grow. It was a perfect fit on both sides. Breann found a program that believed in her and offered her the opportunity to thrive not only as a college tennis player but as a student-athlete who's still developing her full potential.

Breann committed to North Carolina Wesleyan, where she'll begin her journey in Fall 2025. Her story is a testament to how the right tools, timing, and determination can help players take control of their future—no matter when they start.
